These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TroveFolio mobile application, related websites, services, features, and software (collectively, the "Service") provided by TROVEFOLIO LLC, doing business as TroveFolio ("TroveFolio," "we," "us," or "our").
Please read these Terms carefully.
By clicking "Agree," creating an account, or otherwise affirmatively accepting these Terms, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, select "Cancel" and do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use TroveFolio.
By accepting these Terms, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old;
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement; and
- Your use of the Service does not violate applicable law.
If you use TroveFolio on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
TroveFolio is not intended for individuals under 18.
2. Acceptance and Updates to These Terms
You may be required to accept these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy before using the Service.
We may record information concerning your acceptance, including:
- The version of these Terms accepted;
- The version of the Privacy Policy acknowledged; and
- The date and time of acceptance.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
For material changes, we may provide additional notice through the App, by email, or through another reasonable method and may require you to affirmatively accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Service.
For non-material changes, we may update the "Last Updated" date above.
Your use of the Service after an updated version becomes effective is subject to the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
3. Your Account
You must create an account to use TroveFolio. You may create an account using email or a supported third-party authentication provider such as Apple, Google, or Facebook.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information;
- Maintain the security of your credentials;
- Not permit unauthorized use of your account;
- Promptly update information when necessary; and
- Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account to the extent permitted by law.
You may not impersonate another person, create an account using information you are not authorized to use, or access another user's account without permission.
Contact us at support@trovefolio.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Community Features
TroveFolio includes community features that let you create a public profile, publish posts and comments, follow other users, like and respond to content, and share items through links.
Public Content
Content you publish through the community features is visible to other TroveFolio users. This includes your username, profile photo, any badges shown on your profile, your posts (including their photos, titles, text, and tags), your comments, and the collections or items you choose to make visible.
Share links you create can be opened by anyone who has the link, including people who do not have a TroveFolio account.
Do not publish anything you want to keep private. Photos of your collection can reveal serial numbers, certification numbers, receipts, your home, or other personal details. Review your photos before you publish them.
Community Guidelines
Your use of the community features is subject to the TroveFolio Community Guidelines shown in the App, which form part of these Terms. You must accept them before using the community features. Among other things, they prohibit offering items for sale or arranging payment; posting sexual, violent, or graphic material; harassment, hate, and threats; and sharing contact details or payment handles.
Screening and Moderation
Posts, comments, profile photos, and share links are automatically screened before or shortly after they become visible to other users. Screening uses automated systems, including third-party services described in our Privacy Policy, to detect harmful content and content that is not related to collecting. Content may stay hidden while screening is completed, and content that cannot be screened may stay hidden until it can be.
Automated screening can make mistakes. TroveFolio moderators may review, hide, remove, restore, or pin content; turn off comments on a post; warn users; and temporarily or permanently restrict accounts. We are not obligated to review all content, and we are not responsible for content posted by other users.
Reporting and Blocking
You may report content that you believe violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines. You may also block another user. When you block someone, you will not see their posts or comments and they will not see yours. We do not tell users that they have been blocked.
Messages to the TroveFolio Team
The App lets you send a private message to the TroveFolio team, and lets us reply. These conversations are between you and TroveFolio staff. They are not a way to contact other members, and the App does not offer messaging between members.
You may have up to five messages awaiting a reply at any one time. Once we reply, you can send more. We may stop an account from sending new messages if the feature is used abusively. If we do, you can still read the conversation and we can still reply to you.
Photos you attach are screened before our team can see them, as described in Section 4. A photo that screening refuses is removed, and both you and our team are told that it was removed.
We aim to reply within 24 hours. We are a small team, so it can sometimes take longer.
Content Posted by Others
Content posted by other users belongs to them. You may view it within the Service, but you may not copy, republish, or otherwise use it outside the Service without the owner's permission, except as permitted by law.
Use of Published Images Within the Service
Other users may use features of the Service, such as item identification, on images you publish. When they do, those images may be processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
No Marketplace
TroveFolio is not a marketplace. We do not facilitate, verify, or guarantee any sale, purchase, trade, or payment between users, and we are not a party to any arrangement you make with another person. Any dealings between users are solely between those users.
5. The TroveFolio Service
TroveFolio is designed to help users log, organize, identify, track, and estimate the value of precious-metal and collectible items.
Features may include:
- Manual collection entry;
- AI-assisted image scanning and identification;
- Coin and collectible catalog matching;
- Precious-metal content calculations;
- Melt-value calculations;
- Spot-price information;
- Estimated portfolio values;
- Collection photos and notes;
- Cloud synchronization and backup;
- Collection reports and exports;
- Subscription features; and
- Other tools we may introduce.
Certain features may be free while others may require payment.
We may add, modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time.
We do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available indefinitely.
6. AI Scanning, Identification, and Valuation Disclaimers
AI Identification Is an Estimate
TroveFolio may use artificial intelligence and automated systems to identify or describe items based on photographs and other information.
AI-generated results may be:
- Incorrect;
- Incomplete;
- Misclassified;
- Outdated;
- Inconsistent; or
- Based on insufficient information.
AI output is provided as an informational starting point and is not an authoritative determination of an item's identity, authenticity, grade, condition, provenance, rarity, or ownership.
TroveFolio Does Not Authenticate or Grade Items
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, TroveFolio is not:
- An authentication service;
- A grading company;
- A professional appraiser;
- An insurance company;
- A broker;
- A precious-metal dealer;
- A securities or investment adviser;
- A custodian of your property; or
- A guarantee of authenticity or value.
A record appearing in TroveFolio does not constitute proof that an item:
- Exists;
- Is authentic;
- Is owned by you;
- Has clear title;
- Has a particular grade;
- Is insured; or
- Has any particular market value.
Valuations Are Estimates
Melt values, spot-price-based values, estimated portfolio values, and other valuation information are informational estimates.
Actual market value may differ substantially due to factors including:
- Condition;
- Grade;
- Authenticity;
- Rarity;
- Collectibility;
- Dealer premiums;
- Dealer discounts;
- Bid/ask spreads;
- Market liquidity;
- Geographic location;
- Transaction fees;
- Shipping or insurance costs;
- Taxes;
- Market volatility; and
- Buyer demand.
Spot-price data may also be delayed, unavailable, incorrect, or supplied by third parties.
No Financial, Investment, Insurance, Tax, or Legal Advice
Nothing provided through TroveFolio constitutes financial, investment, insurance, tax, accounting, or legal advice.
You should independently verify information and consult an appropriate qualified professional before making significant financial, insurance, purchasing, selling, tax, estate-planning, or investment decisions.
Reports and Insurance-Ready Exports
Any report or export described as "insurance-ready," "insurance format," or similar terminology is provided solely as an organizational convenience.
Such reports are not professional appraisals, do not establish insurance coverage, and do not require an insurer to accept the listed values.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of information stored in your collection and for decisions you make based on TroveFolio.
7. Your Content
Ownership
You retain ownership of photographs, item information, notes, descriptions, corrections, and other content that you submit to TroveFolio ("Your Content").
Except for the licenses expressly provided in these Terms, TroveFolio does not claim ownership of Your Content merely because you upload or store it through the Service.
License to Operate the Service
You grant TroveFolio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, process, modify solely as technically necessary, display, and otherwise use Your Content as reasonably necessary to:
- Operate the Service;
- Store and synchronize your collection;
- Perform AI scans;
- Generate requested reports;
- Provide support;
- Maintain security;
- Troubleshoot technical problems; and
- Display content you publish through the community features to other users, and through share links to anyone who has the link;
- Screen and moderate content as described in Section 4;
- Provide other features you request.
This license continues for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service and fulfill the purposes described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
AI Training and Model Improvement
When you use AI Scan, you also grant TroveFolio, to the extent permitted by applicable law, a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use submitted scan images, AI outputs, item information, corrections, confirmations, and related data to:
- Train;
- Test;
- Evaluate;
- Validate;
- Improve; and
- Develop
TroveFolio's item-identification systems, algorithms, datasets, and related technology.
As described in our Privacy Policy, information retained for this purpose after account deletion may be de-identified by removing or severing direct account identifiers and links to your account.
Where applicable law requires separate consent or provides a right to object to such processing, TroveFolio will honor those requirements.
De-Identified Does Not Necessarily Mean Anonymous
Removing the connection between an image and your TroveFolio account does not guarantee that the visual contents of the image are completely anonymous.
For example, an image may inadvertently contain:
- A person's face;
- A reflection;
- An address;
- A shipping label;
- A receipt;
- A certificate;
- A serial number;
- A personal document; or
- Other identifying information.
You should avoid submitting images containing unrelated personal, confidential, or sensitive information.
We may take reasonable steps to remove unnecessary metadata and account associations but cannot guarantee that every potentially identifying detail within an image will automatically be detected or removed.
Your Rights and Responsibilities
You represent and warrant that:
- You own Your Content or have sufficient rights to submit and use it;
- Your Content does not violate the intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights of another person;
- Your Content does not violate applicable law; and
- You have obtained any permissions reasonably necessary for content you submit.
8. Subscriptions and Payments
TroveFolio may offer free and paid subscription tiers.
A paid subscription may unlock features such as:
- Increased or unlimited collection items;
- Increased or unlimited AI scans;
- Cloud backup and synchronization;
- Advanced reports;
- Insurance-oriented exports; and
- Other premium functionality.
Specific benefits may change over time.
Reasonable-Use Limits
Any feature described as "unlimited," including unlimited AI scans or items, remains subject to reasonable:
- Technical limits;
- Rate limits;
- Security controls;
- Anti-abuse protections; and
- Fair-use restrictions
designed to protect the Service and prevent automated, fraudulent, excessive, or abusive use.
"Unlimited" does not permit automated bulk processing, resale of access, circumvention of technical controls, or use inconsistent with the normal intended operation of the Service.
Billing
Subscription pricing, billing intervals, trial periods, promotional terms, and renewal terms will be disclosed at the time of purchase.
Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed through the applicable app-store billing system.
We may use a subscription-management provider such as RevenueCat to help manage entitlements and subscription status.
Automatic Renewal
Unless otherwise disclosed, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless canceled before renewal.
Your applicable app store may charge your selected payment method at the beginning of each renewal period.
Cancellation
You may manage or cancel your subscription through the applicable app store or through another cancellation method made available in the App.
Cancellation generally prevents future renewal but does not ordinarily terminate access for a subscription period you have already paid for, except where required by law or applicable app-store policy.
Deleting your TroveFolio account or uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.
You are responsible for separately canceling your subscription through the applicable subscription-management process.
Refunds
Refund eligibility and processing are subject to:
- The policies of the applicable app store;
- TroveFolio's applicable policies where we have authority to issue a refund; and
- Applicable law.
TroveFolio does not guarantee that a refund request will be approved.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for an unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
- Violate these Terms;
- Access or attempt to access another user's account, collection, or information without authorization;
- Misrepresent your identity;
- Impersonate another person or organization;
- Probe, scan, test, or exploit the security of the Service without authorization;
- Introduce viruses, malware, malicious code, or harmful content;
- Circumvent authentication, access controls, rate limits, subscriptions, payment restrictions, or usage limits;
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or impair the Service or its infrastructure;
- Scrape, harvest, crawl, or systematically extract information from the Service except where expressly authorized;
- Use bots, scripts, automated systems, or other automated means to access the Service except where expressly permitted;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decipher, or attempt to obtain source code, proprietary algorithms, model weights, credentials, API keys, or non-public interfaces except where applicable law expressly prohibits such restrictions;
- Use TroveFolio's infrastructure to provide unauthorized AI-processing or API services to others;
- Copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service except as permitted by us;
- Upload unlawful, infringing, defamatory, deceptive, malicious, or unauthorized content;
- Use the Service to infringe another person's intellectual-property or privacy rights;
- Use the Service or its outputs to create, train, benchmark, or improve a competing product, dataset, AI model, or service except with our written permission; or
- Violate the Community Guidelines;
- Use the community features to offer items for sale, solicit purchases, or arrange payment;
- Harass, threaten, or abuse another user;
- Publish another person's personal information, including contact details, without their permission;
- Attempt to assist another person in doing any of the above.
We may use reasonable technical measures to enforce these restrictions.
10. Third-Party Services and Information
TroveFolio relies on or integrates with third-party providers that may include:
- Supabase;
- Google and Gemini;
- Numista;
- GoldAPI;
- Apple;
- Google Play;
- RevenueCat; and
- Other infrastructure, authentication, market-data, catalog, communications, analytics, or security providers.
Some third parties act as service providers processing information on TroveFolio's behalf, while others may provide independently operated products, data, or services.
Your use of certain third-party services may be subject to additional terms and privacy policies.
TroveFolio does not control independently operated third-party services and does not guarantee their availability, accuracy, completeness, continued operation, or performance.
Third-party catalog data, market data, spot prices, descriptions, identifiers, and similar information may be supplied "as is" and may contain errors or delays.
Nothing in this Section limits any responsibility that TroveFolio is required to retain under applicable law for service providers acting on our behalf.
11. Intellectual Property
Except for Your Content and third-party materials, TroveFolio and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including:
- Software;
- Source and object code;
- Interfaces;
- Designs;
- Graphics;
- Branding;
- Logos;
- Databases;
- Data structures;
- AI systems;
- Proprietary datasets;
- Selection and arrangement of content; and
- Related intellectual property.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use TroveFolio for your personal or internal business purposes.
This license does not permit you to:
- Resell TroveFolio;
- Operate a service bureau using TroveFolio;
- Provide TroveFolio access to third parties for a fee;
- Repackage or redistribute the Service; or
- Exploit our intellectual property beyond the rights expressly granted in these Terms.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
12. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide ideas, suggestions, recommendations, feature requests, or other feedback concerning TroveFolio ("Feedback"), you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use, modify, implement, commercialize, and otherwise exploit that Feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
This provision does not transfer ownership of Your Content merely because it contains a correction or factual item record used as described elsewhere in these Terms.
13. Service Availability and Changes
We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The Service may become unavailable due to:
- Maintenance;
- Internet or network outages;
- Third-party service outages;
- Security events;
- Software defects;
- Changes in law;
- Technical limitations;
- Force-majeure events; or
- Other circumstances.
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or replace all or part of the Service.
Where reasonably practical, we may provide notice before materially discontinuing a paid feature, but we do not guarantee that every feature will remain available indefinitely.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."
TROVEFOLIO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS, AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF:
- MERCHANTABILITY;
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE;
- TITLE;
- NON-INFRINGEMENT;
- ACCURACY;
- RELIABILITY;
- AVAILABILITY; AND
- SECURITY.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE;
- DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED;
- DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST;
- THIRD-PARTY SERVICES WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE;
- AI IDENTIFICATIONS WILL BE CORRECT;
- CATALOG MATCHES WILL BE ACCURATE;
- MARKET OR SPOT-PRICE INFORMATION WILL BE CURRENT;
- PORTFOLIO VALUES WILL REFLECT REALIZABLE MARKET VALUE; OR
- THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR PARTICULAR NEEDS.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS, SO SOME OF THESE DISCLAIMERS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES ANY WARRANTY OR RIGHT THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TROVEFOLIO, TROVEFOLIO LLC, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
THIS INCLUDES LOSS OF:
- PROFITS;
- REVENUE;
- BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY;
- DATA;
- COLLECTION RECORDS;
- GOODWILL; OR
- EXPECTED SAVINGS,
ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, TROVEFOLIO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
- AN INCORRECT AI IDENTIFICATION;
- AN INCORRECT OR DELAYED VALUATION;
- MARKET OR SPOT-PRICE DATA;
- AN INCORRECT CATALOG MATCH;
- LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA;
- THE CONTENT OR CONDUCT OF OTHER USERS;
- A USER'S PURCHASE OR SALE DECISION;
- INSURANCE OR APPRAISAL DECISIONS;
- THIRD-PARTY SERVICES; OR
- UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS CAUSED BY A USER'S FAILURE TO SAFEGUARD CREDENTIALS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF TROVEFOLIO AND TROVEFOLIO LLC ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
(A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR TROVEFOLIO DURING THE 12 MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR
(B) USD $50.
THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, INCLUDING CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY TO THE EXTENT SUCH LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
Some jurisdictions may provide rights that cannot be waived, and the limitations above apply only to the extent legally permitted.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TroveFolio, TROVEFOLIO LLC, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, and reasonable legal expenses arising from:
- Your unlawful use of the Service;
- Your material violation of these Terms;
- Your Content infringing or violating another person's rights;
- Fraudulent, abusive, or intentionally unauthorized use of the Service; or
- Your violation of applicable law.
This Section does not require you to indemnify TroveFolio for claims caused solely by TroveFolio's own conduct where such indemnification would be prohibited by applicable law.
17. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using TroveFolio at any time.
You may request deletion of your account through the method provided in the App or through the external account-deletion process described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access if we reasonably believe that:
- You materially violated these Terms;
- Your activity presents a security risk;
- Your account is being used fraudulently;
- Your activity may expose TroveFolio or another person to liability;
- Suspension is required by law; or
- Continued access would threaten the integrity of the Service; or
- You violated the Community Guidelines.
We may also remove content that violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines, with or without notice.
If we restrict or ban an account from the community features for violating these Terms or the Community Guidelines, that restriction may be enforced against you even if you later delete your account and create a new one, including by retaining a limited record such as the email address associated with the banned account. This record is kept only to enforce the restriction.
We may also discontinue the Service generally.
Subscriptions Following Account Deletion or Termination
Deleting your TroveFolio account does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through Apple or Google Play.
You must separately manage or cancel your subscription through the applicable app store.
If TroveFolio suspends or terminates an account for violation of these Terms, treatment of any active subscription or refund will be subject to applicable law and applicable app-store rules.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends, subject to any rights that applicable law requires us to preserve.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions concerning:
- Intellectual property;
- AI-training rights applicable to previously retained de-identified information;
- Disclaimers;
- Limitation of liability;
- Indemnification;
- Dispute provisions; and
- Other provisions intended to survive.
Handling of personal information following termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent another jurisdiction's mandatory consumer-protection laws apply.
Subject to any rights you may have under mandatory applicable law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or TroveFolio will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Nassau County, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking appropriate injunctive or equitable relief where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of mandatory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived under the laws of their jurisdiction.
19. Apple App Store Additional Terms
This Section applies if you obtain or use TroveFolio through Apple's App Store.
Agreement Between You and TroveFolio
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and TROVEFOLIO LLC, not Apple Inc. ("Apple").
TroveFolio, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content, subject to these Terms.
Scope of License
The license granted to you for the iOS version of TroveFolio is a non-transferable license to use the App on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules contained in the applicable Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
The App may also be accessed and used by other accounts where permitted through Apple features such as Family Sharing or other Apple-authorized mechanisms.

TROVEFOLIO LLC, not Apple, is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services for TroveFolio to the extent required by these Terms or applicable law.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for TroveFolio.
Warranty
To the extent any warranty exists that cannot lawfully be disclaimed, TROVEFOLIO LLC is solely responsible for that warranty.
If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and where required under Apple's applicable terms, Apple may refund the purchase price paid for the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding TroveFolio.
Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to an applicable warranty are the responsibility of TROVEFOLIO LLC to the extent required by applicable law.
Product Claims
You acknowledge that TROVEFOLIO LLC, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to TroveFolio or your possession or use of TroveFolio, including:
- Product-liability claims;
- Claims that the App fails to conform to applicable legal or regulatory requirements; and
- Claims arising under applicable consumer-protection, privacy, or similar laws.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
Intellectual-Property Claims
If a third party claims that TroveFolio or your possession or use of the App infringes that third party's intellectual-property rights, TROVEFOLIO LLC, not Apple, will be responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim to the extent required by applicable law.
Legal Compliance
You represent and warrant that:
- You are not located in a country or region subject to a United States Government embargo or designated by the United States Government as a "terrorist supporting" country or region; and
- You are not listed on a United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Third-Party Terms
You must comply with applicable third-party agreements when using TroveFolio, including applicable wireless-data, internet-service, Apple Media Services, and other terms associated with your device or services.
Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary
You acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to your use of the iOS App.
Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right, and will be deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce the applicable provisions of these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

This Section applies if you obtain or use TroveFolio through Google Play.
These Terms are between you and TROVEFOLIO LLC, not Google LLC or its affiliates ("Google").
TroveFolio, not Google, is responsible for the App and its content.
Your use of the App must comply with applicable Google Play terms and policies.
Google has no obligation under these Terms to provide maintenance or support for TroveFolio.
Purchases and subscriptions made through Google Play are also subject to applicable Google Play billing, cancellation, and refund rules.
Uninstalling TroveFolio does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.
Where required, TroveFolio will provide an accessible method within the App for users to manage or cancel applicable subscriptions.
Google is not a party to these Terms except to the extent a particular Google agreement expressly provides otherwise.
21. Export and Sanctions Compliance
You may not use, export, re-export, transfer, or make available the Service in violation of applicable export-control, sanctions, or trade laws.

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent.
We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, corporate reorganization, sale of assets, change of control, or by operation of law, subject to applicable law.
24. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
The remaining provisions will remain in effect.
25. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision later.
A waiver is effective only if made in writing by an authorized representative of TroveFolio.
26. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly presented for a specific feature or purchase, constitute the entire agreement between you and TroveFolio regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements concerning the same subject matter.
