Delete your TroveFolio account

Delete your account in the app

1. Open TroveFolio and go to the Profile tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom, below Support & legal, and tap Delete account.
3. Read what will be deleted, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete my account.

Your account is deleted straight away and you're signed out. This also clears your TroveFolio data from that phone. You can then delete the app if you like.

What gets deleted

• Your login and email address
• Your username, profile and profile picture
• Your collection, including item details, prices and notes
• Photos of your items, and receipt photos
• Your posts, comments, likes, follows and shared collections
• Your notifications, settings and permissions

What may be kept, without any link to you

• Coin photos, only if "Help improve identification" is turned on. The front and back photos of your coins are kept to improve coin identification, along with basic coin details such as type, year, mint mark and grade. They are stored with no name, email, account, dates, prices or notes, so they can't be traced back to you. To have these deleted as well, turn this setting off before deleting your account, under Profile → AI & photo permissions.
• Missing-coin report photos, only if you allowed it on that report. If you reported a coin we couldn't identify and chose to let us use your photos in our coin catalogue, those photos are kept with no link to you.
• Corrections to identifications. Corrections you made to a scan result are kept to improve accuracy, with your account removed from them.

Receipt photos are never kept. Deleted data may remain in secure backups for a short period before being permanently overwritten.

If you can't access the app

Email support@trovefolio.ai with the subject "Delete my account".

• Send it from the email address on your account.
• If you signed in with Facebook and have no email on file, include your TroveFolio username.

We'll confirm the request comes from you, delete your account within 30 days, and email you when it's done.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a TroveFolio Pro subscription bought through Apple. Cancel it on your iPhone under Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Signed in with Facebook?

Removing TroveFolio from your Facebook settings (Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites) disconnects Facebook from TroveFolio, but it doesn't delete your TroveFolio account or data. To delete them, follow the steps above.
